AIPN
AI-powered Personalized Nutrition for well-being and disease prevention
AIPN Vision
Nutrition today plays a greater role than ever in determining how healthy we remain, how we feel, and how sustainably our society functions. With AIPN – AI‑powered Personalized Nutrition for well‑being and disease prevention – a new and visionary research platform is being established at the University of Vienna led by Wolfram Weckwerth, addressing exactly these challenges. A unique team of nutrition scientists, medical experts, metabolomics and microbiome researchers, psychologists, and specialists in artificial intelligence is working closely together to rethink nutrition from the ground up.
AIPN combines state‑of‑the‑art biochemical analyses with insights into human behavior and AI‑driven models. This makes it possible to predict how different individuals respond to specific foods and to derive tailored nutritional recommendations that truly make a difference.
The goal is clear: scientifically grounded, personalized nutrition concepts that not only strengthen individual health but also contribute to a healthier and more resilient society. AIPN explores what the nutrition of the future could look like—precise, sustainable, and tailored to each person.
